Blessed are Those Who Hunger and Thirst for Righteousness
For they will be satisfied.Volume One—July 16, 2003
(words from) Jesus
Today, I want to talk about perseverance during difficult times or times of crisis. My children, it is during these times when your relationship with Me is of the greatest vaue. Do not forget Me when you are experiencing human exhaustion or great upheavals, including sickness. Sadly, many of even My chosen ones forget that I am with them and wish to steer them through crisis and illness. I understand. When your life changes abruptly or you feel physically unwell, it is sometimes hard to remember to practice your faith. But I tell you now that this is the time to back out of the world even more fully and let Me direct everything. If you are practicing the life of a Christ follower, this is not a long stretch for you. My graces pour down upon you during these times. You must also ask yourself always what it is that Jesus is attempting to show you through tragedy or illness. Children, I do not attempt to show you that your God is a cold and harsh Being. On the contrary, your God loves you and directs everything, often intervening to save you from the folly of your error and sin. People today, remarkably, blame God for all manner of hardship and badness. They use the fruits of sin to justify their failure to follow Me. Children, it is not I who have brought this darkness over the world. It is you, by your sin and failure to serve. There is enough food in the world. There should not be hunger. Medical care, also, can be spread around in a more effective manner. Humanitarian assistance to your poor and less advanced societies is an act of mercy and those who practice it are following My will, whether they know it or not. Truly, I want these acts of mercy from you. And I want you to stop blaming your God for your failures. Do not let others get away with this. Defend me. And defend my priests and nuns.
