Feast of The Most Holy Name of Jesus
Matthew 4:12-17, 23-25On this Christmas weekday mass, we encounter the prophesy of Isaiah proclaiming the coming of the Kingdom. We then hear Jesus proclaim the Kingdom and cure illnesses all throughout “Galilee, the Decapolis, Jerusalem, and Judea, and from beyond the Jordan.”
This gospel covers a host of activity without fanfare of the enormity of that activity.
As we clebrate this beautiful feast day of Jesus’ Holy Name, we can similiarly reflect that as simple as a name can be, there is no name in Heaven or on earth that has the power contained in the name of JESUS. Call on Him often in love, in need, in praise, in thanksgiving.
Thank You, JESUS! We love You.
