Today’s second reading speakes about the enormity of the resurrection. On it hinges our eternity. St. Paul says, “And if Christ has not been raised, then empty [too] is our preaching; empty, too, your faith.” And he also says, “and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is vain; you are still in your sins.”
Here we see our salvation was won for us through the cross. But our eternal life came through the resurrection.
