Prudence
Mark 6: 30-34In Mark's gospel account today, the apostles return from a time of intense evangelization to report to Jesus. Jesus wanted them to rest, for they had worked hard and needed time to recover. He prudently says, “Come away by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while.”
Prudence is defined as "always seeking to do God’s Will alone." Notice it is God's Will that they rest.
Have you ever considered rest as being the Will of God? If you have, you have been both wise and prudent.
