Twelfth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Mark 4:35-41In today's gospel, Jesus rebukes the wind and the storm of the sea to calm the apostles. He asks them, “Why are you terrified? Do you not yet have faith?”
How many times in our lives would these questions apply to us? In all honesty, for me, I can think of quite a few times. It causes me to reflect on being more trusting. Perhaps, the next time I encounter a tough situation, I will think of God first, and declare my trust in Him. And if I still feel weak, I will ask for His trust and His strength.
Jesus, I trust in You.
