Eighth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Luke 6:39-45There are several wonderful tenets to live by in Jesus' sermon today. But the core concerns how we percieve the faults of others much more readily than our own. "Why do you notice the splinter in your brother’s eye, but do not perceive the wooden beam in your own?"
If we are honest with ourselves, the thnigs that bother us about others are things similar to annoying things we do ourselves. Take a moment before you criticize another. Ask God to have mercy on you instead of uttering a criticism.
