Twenty-Eighth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Luke 17:11-19In today’s gospel, Jesus heals ten lepers. Only one returns to give thanks. this is a very humbling gospel. For if we are truthful, we must admit that we ask God for lots of favors that are granted. Do we always give thanks? And if we do, how long does it take us to say thank you?
Today, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, I thank You for every favor granted past, present and future. I ask for the grace to remember to say “Thank You” swiftly and consistently.
Jesus, Son of the Living God, have mercy on me, a sinner.
